ELIMINATE DOWNTIME Mid America Truck recommends
preventative maintenance service at regular intervals. The following is a description of
the 3 levels of maintence and what they each include.

PM A - Every 6,500 Miles
* Change oil & oil filter * Check power steering reservior & condition
* Lube chassis * Inspect all belts
* Inspect steering * Inspect all hoses
* Inspect suspension * Check all lights
* Inspect brakes * Check washer reservoir
* Check tire pressure & wear * Inspect wiper blades
* Change fuel filter * Check dash gauges
* Service or replace water separator * Check heater & a/c operation
* Inspect air filter & housing * Check parking brake operation
* Check coolant level & protection * Check tranmission fluid level & condition
* Check differential fluid level & condition * Check clutch & brake fluid reservoir
PM B - Every 26,000 Miles - includes all of PM A plus:
* Transmission service: change fluid & filter * Check wheel hubs
* Check transmission shifter operation * Rotate tires,torque wheel nuts
* Replace air filter * Check fuel supply condition
* Check air intake condition * Torque steering gearbox bolts
* Check clutch pedal freeplay * Check torque of front & rear leaf spring u-bolts
* Check brake flex hose condition * Check body mount bolts for tightness
PM C - Every 52,000 Miles - includes all of PM A&B plus:
* Repack front & rear bearings * Replace differential oil
* Replace/flush engine coolant * Inspect driveshaft & u-joints
* Pressure test coolant system * Adjust valves
* Verify coolant freeze protection * Pop check injectors
* Replace belts * Check injection pump timing
* Replace/flush power steering fluid * Clean injection pump transfer screen
